I'm a freshman at the University of Michigan planning on majoring in Creative Writing. I want to be some kind of writer... books or tv shows or comic books or something.
I live in East Quad, and I don't know why we get such a bad reputation as being a bunch of weirdos - maybe because I'm one of the ones contributing to it. My hair's blue, I frequently swordfight in the hallways using any long object I can find, and I occasionally run around campus wearing ridiculous outfits for no real reason other than to see people's reactions. One such outfit consists of a sombrero, poncho, dressy tie and aviators, and I have dubbed it Poncho Villa (after the Mexican revolutionary.)
I'm a bit of a nerd and oddball, but I believe there's no such thing as normal and everybody's got something unique about them that makes them great. I love meeting new people and discovering what makes them unique, and I've found college is a great place to do that - as this site will be as well, hopefully.
